Many of you remember The Matrix movie franchise written and produced by the Wachowskis and the powerful metaphors about the nature of the illusion and our beliefs about light vs. dark. We may know intellectually that the illusion is just a reflection of our energies and belief systems, but do we truly believe on the inner? We may be in touch with parts of ourselves that truly want to create change, but how much of our consciousness is still afraid of being uprooted? How willing are we to allow these evolutionary changes to filter down into every aspect of our reality?
I recently experienced a fun reminder that we each create our unique reality even while interacting with others who are also creating their unique realities. I was working with a spreadsheet of formulas which was stored on a virtual drive with shared access. My colleague called me to discuss it because she was seeing some different numbers than I was. We did a screen-share so that we could each see the document the other had opened. Indeed, some of the fields showed slightly different results from the formulas. What?! We confirmed we were both opening the same source document from the same virtual folder, not different versions saved under different names. The only difference was that we had each opened the document in different spreadsheet software. But we were mystified that this could have caused any change in the resulting numbers. A formula is a formula, right? One plus one always equals two, right? Please tell me I can count on that, at least!
Truly revolutionary change requires us to surrender the old at every level of consciousness. Even mathematics is a human-created language within the illusion to help explain certain aspects of our reality. If humanity and the entire planet are collectively evolving to create a new paradigm, then perhaps the “facts” that we’ve always relied on as our touchstones are also changing. In certain parts of the world, it was once a “fact” that Earth was the center of the universe. “Facts” change to reflect changing realities.
My soul was very excited by this message, but I was initially a little unnerved. How do we function in our daily lives and interact with others if no one can count on a common reality? My soul was not ruffled in the slightest. The answer is that we let go of our old tools rooted in knowledge, reason and logic. We go within for our spiritual tools rooted in the new paradigm. We check in with our soul’s guidance, align with the Christ Consciousness which holds the vision for the divine plan for all of humanity and planet Earth, and we allow for the unexpected. Reality is shifting so rapidly that what we thought we knew yesterday may no longer be our truth today.
Years ago, I was visiting with two friends at their home when the discussion turned to a situation in their lives to which they were still deciding their response. They weren’t able to agree and were both becoming increasingly frustrated. Finally, one friend said to the other friend, “Are you going to let me change?” She had a point. My other friend had assumed he knew her point of view and was resistant to her perspective when it didn’t match his expectations. She was seeing the situation in a new way while he was still seeing through the eyes of the old one.
Even when we consciously want change and actively work to create change, it still takes commitment to truly allow those inner changes to be reflected in every aspect of our reality. Someone once asked the question: If you actually witnessed the Christ transmuting water into wine with your own eyes, would you believe what you were seeing?
It’s time to start posing these questions to ourselves. Am I willing to believe in miracles when I experience them? How am I blocking my belief? Am I willing to accept a new reality when it takes form, or do I still choose to see a world gone crazy because it’s too different from the old one? The miracle of breaking through the illusion matrix is happening right here, right now. How willing are you to allow this new reality to be your full experience?
