Just as we would update and upgrade operating systems on our digital devices, we update our divine truth throughout our spiritual evolution. What was true for us at certain times in our spiritual journey will not always be so. We cannot experience growth and expansion otherwise.
I recently had the realization that I was defaulting to some old ways of doing things in my life even though circumstances in my outer world had changed to reflect some frequency shifts I had experienced. The old ways were no longer a match for me or my life, but I was still holding on to them from the comfort of habit. To further the digital metaphor: I needed an updated core for my new operating system. This brought me to the question: What is my new truth?
We are multi-dimensional beings with multi-dimensional consciousness. Until come back into Unity and Oneness, each aspect of our consciousness operates from a “truth” that is the foundation for that unique experience. When our overall energy shifts to a higher frequency, some aspects of our consciousness may take a little longer to catch up to the new reality. We can help those aspects with our conscious intention and healing techniques to support the complete shift.
If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or operating from habit rather than conscious choice and discernment, pause for a moment and do an internal check: What is my divine truth in this moment? If the mental or emotional bodies are spiraling about what happened in the past or what you need to do in the future, this question can help you re-center and focus back to the core of your inner truth. Yes, I do need to prepare dinner in a few hours because my physical body needs sustenance but is it true that I need to make my grocery list right now? Is it true that the evening will fall apart if I don’t plan the meal in detail? If I acknowledge that’s not true, then what is true for me? Usually, the answer to that question is fairly simple and from that place of simplicity, it’s much easier to have the clarity we need for our next steps.
Practice incorporating this question into moments where you feel distracted or stressed or uncertain. What do you know in your heart is absolutely true in this very moment? Take a few deep breaths and let your reality be fully grounded in this truth. Once you have that clarity and centeredness of Divine Truth, the rest will fall into place with far greater ease and flow.
